We offer a wide range of surgical procedures using the latest and safest anesthetic protocols for your pet. Our newly remodeled surgical suite offers many advanced tools and anesthetic monitoring equipment to help insure the safety of your pet while surgery is performed.

Dental care is critical to your pet’s health. Our custom made laminar flow dental table and IM6 veterinary dental unit allow us to provide complete dental care including dental scaling, cleaning and polishing, and extractions.

Radiographs (X-Rays) are an important tool in evaluation of injuries to the spine and bones as well as evaluation of soft tissues such as the heart lungs, and intestines and urinary tract. Our X-ray machine and automatic processor allow us to perform a wide range of diagnostic test with great precision.

We have a complete in house laboratory with the latest hematology equipment using laser flow cytology. We can also perform full blood chemistry and electrolyte evaluation, and using our Nikon microscope offer a full range of cytologic evaluation of tissue and fluids. We also offer the most accurate evaluation of feces for intestinal parasites using our centrifuge.

We have a complete pharmacy to offer our clients and their pets the medications they need during their office visit. We also have the most common heartworm and flea preventatives at very competitive prices.

Pet wellness and vaccinations - Dogs, Cats, Birds, Pocket Pets, and non-venomous: reptiles. Dr Porter also consults with fish owners on fish health issues.

Physical Examinations, consultations, including skin, body condition, endocrinology, and reproduction.

Dental cleaning and oral health examinations.

Radiographs including advanced procedures such as upper and lower barium GI series, thoracic and abdominal x-rays.

Surgery — reproductive (spay and neuter), abdominal, skin mass removal, feline declawing, as well as many other procedures.

Laboratory — Our complete in house laboratory includes blood chemistry, electrolytes, and hematology. We also perform a wide range of other testing including urinalysis and fecal parasite and heartworm testing. Using our Idexx Cardiopet EKG machine we offer cardiac evaluations using a board certified veterinary cardiologist.

Bathing and dipping for fleas and ticks, as well as medically related skin condition utilize the Hydrosurge bathing systems with every bath.

Drop off services area available Monday - Friday for wellness exams, vaccination health consultations. We ask that all drop offs be scheduled 24 hours prior to ensure have appropriate holding or hospitalization cages available.

USDA certified for pet travel both within the United States as well as for International Travel. Dr Porter works on a routine basis with international carriers Delta and Virgin Atlantic. We are familiar with the UK Pet Travel Scheme and the EU Pet Passport
